Who is John Galt?

“We can spend our lives letting the world tell us who we are. Sane or insane. Saints or sex addicts. Heroes or victims. Letting history tell us how good or bad we are. Letting our past decide our future. Or we can decide for ourselves. And maybe it’s our job to invent something better.”
-Chuck Palahniuk

I am curious about the connection between the title, and the quote. Chuck Palahniuk has never struck me as very pro-Randian, wondering where you were going here.

The connection is simply myself

Appreciate that, really. It’s a powerful dissonance you set up with the title vs post, sometimes that’s intentional, an attempt to force the reader to dig deeper on their own, sometimes it’s the latter. Thanks for the answer 🙂
