An inspiring speaker! It is true, call it Spirit, God, Devine Intervention, the call to write can be spontaneous and all possessing. Thank you for sharing this inspiring TED Talk!

Her capacity to entertain extends beyond the covers of a book – no notes either, all off the cuff. She tells a story well makes her points with humility. It was indeed interesting to hear her perspectives on creativity so thanks a lot for putting it out here.
She’s eloquent. She has several good points. She is so close to the solution to her premise, however she flits around the light-source of reality only to barely touch it and then back away again. She talks about The Divine Genius, she even uses Jesus’ name (in vain, sadly), yet she can’t seem to admit that our creativity comes exclusively from the One Original Creator. We are created in His image. Is it any wonder that we long to create? I just thank Him that He chose me to use as a way “for others to catch a glimpse of Him”. I have no shred of ability without His creativeness; all I have is the life He has lent me, and that’s why I give it back to Him by cheerfully “showing up for work” every morning.
Thank you for this, Cocojay. Your passion is amazing! Yes, creativity is mysterious! It is supernatural – above nature – because God IS supernatural. So, writing confounds us and threatens to overwhelm us. We tend to think about it too much, maybe? Maybe going with the flow would be better? At any rate this video is food for thought, and God is speaking volumes to me because of it. My pen is burning hot……..
Blessings, Cocojay, and all you other brilliant writers!

Liked her comment about alcoholic, manic depressives. Sounds like she’s talking about me. Or any one of us, really.
