I completely agree with you Ms. Ginger. It is never only the physical beauty of a woman that makes her so attractive (although this does make it easier), it is the person that she is; her intellect; her passion; her personality; her wit; her charm; her demeanor. This post encompasses that. A perfect articulation of the truth!

I clearly meet the wrong men – they seem intrigued by how long my legs are and where they go to after my skirt reaches my knees 🙂 x

This is great! I suppose this is what I try to do, but I never think of it in so many words. If a guy likes the fact that you are a beautiful mind, then I think the relationship will last longer, because the beauty of a mind never fades, only sharpens.

Where oh where is the sense of humor? Is it trait number31… or is that where being a writer comes In? (grin)

Maybe it’s because I was raised without a father by two sisters and my mother but – really – the female mind isn’t that much of an enigma to men as women would like to think. ( I’d wager it’s a lot more transparent than the male mind. I tend to get along more easily with my female friends than male friends because of this. I can never tell what my male friends are thinking )
Women have this particular – drive – ( for lack of being mellifluous this will have to fit for now ) that men have as well, they just experience it differently. There’s a lot of posh science about women being more motivated than men – and as a whole it’s an unfair assessment and untrue. What IS true is that women are more driven in particular areas than men.
An example would be: If men are possibilities built out of play-dough women are possibilities built out of clay.
It is a different substrate, more tensile and less tensile in certain areas. As a pot maker may know – not all dough is equal – not all clay is equal.
It’s a product of gender and society. I’ve seen women excel in several odd fields ( I know a female power lifter and CEO. ) and i’ve also seen women fail in several fields the normal gender ‘type’ would suggest them being successful in.( Painters/Advisors/Counselors/Therapists) Most eastern European and Oriental women would never dream of being power-lifters or CEO’s.
Which suggests its less the female mind and more the society.
The Western European and American woman is a rather insatiable predator in some ways. I eschewed relationships because I grew bored at the gender game women always tried playing with me. It was never as simple ( and never is ) just telling them: ” Look, you’re about as transparent as a veil made out of clear wrapping paper, just stop the game.”
I think most women think guys are about as intelligent as a sack of straw when it comes to emotions, sensitivities, and perceptions and we are treated as such. Maybe I feel that way because of my own unfortunate relationship with women – where they’re about as false and ingratiating as the stereotypical high school football male.
