So often it does 😉
I’ve been hooked on the netflix series “Doc Martin” and if you want a dose of poor social skills prepare yourself for feeling a whole lot better about yourself. lol. There is redeeming value, however. Deep down burns a heart of gold and in time those around learn to love him. Can’t help it. He’s a wounded little guy in a big body living up to big expectations. We all are wounded little guys in big bodies trying to live up to expectations and sometimes it comes out wrong and awkward. Reminds me of one of my favorite songs”That’s who I am”. One phrase says “Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy but my friends still love me because they know just where I stand. I am RoseMary’s granddaughter. The spitting image of my father and my mom’s my greatest fan.”. Take a deep breath and give yourself a break. There is so much to be grateful for. Turn your disapppointments over to Jesus. He’s the bridgebuilder. The friend that’s closer than a brother.
Good stuff, Janjoy, and Amen!
