I think bitterness and jealousy have about the same meaning.

That picture – so cute but look at her lickle face all jealous!
Jealousy is the sharpest, it’s also the worst because to Love and to Hate sounds so definite, decided with a full stop – but jealousy is so unpredictable, open ended confusing and unsettling.

I am the opposite here. But then I always was the special child. Maybe I remember cop outs more then anything. Make sure I am not as guilty.

Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy – in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other.”

That is beautiful 🙂
question about your illustration added, which also btw adds immense dramatic effect. So I was recently made aware of this phenomenon of new girlfriends having jealousy or feeling insecure about their boyfriends exes, and the lengths they go through to… learn, compare, even harass at times the “ex”.
I really hadn’t considered this idea since well, when it’s over its over eh, I know when things are done, I have never left a relationship surprised.
So, is it always the one on the outside feeling jealousy?
Love and hate. You cannot hate if you do not love. But lack of love is not hate, it is indifference., Where does jealousy play into that.
Logically thinking about this equation, it would suggest the two IN love would be more prone to jealousy than the one who is… indifferent.
Just some.. random musings.
And some questions… Why am I like a 5 year old with the questions? Probably bc I have so little answers,..
