The dark distressing thrall of coffee greets me. It’s been one week since our last date. I’ve mixed her with raw honey, cayenne and ginger for this special affair. I’ve missed our mornings together. My 6 day detox makes me love her all the more. Just one sip heightens my senses, and reminds me of our long standing love/hate relationship. At times she reminds me of boys I loved. But not today. Today is different.

I spent yesterday and today indulging in hawaiian macadamia nuts covered with kahlua, coffee grinds, sugar and other wonderful spices. Unreal.
