I understood him. I always did. It wasn’t fair, or to my advantage, always seeing the psychology and past corrupts of what made others tick, serving me wrong and making me undeservingly forgiving and kind. Truth is, I would do anything to cut my heart out of my chest and freeze it so it did not feel….in the way that they did. I didn’t know how they did it…I didn’t know how they spaced away. I wanted to learn, and I tried, but could never fully force the forgery. My fingers too animated for such pretending, making me realize how little we really had in common.
